Skills. Skilled Worker And Professionals cases are
processed on the basis of the applicant's individual skills and the likelihood
that they will contribute to the Canadian economy. To be accepted as a
skilled worker, applicants must: meet the minimum work experience requirements,
prove that they have enough funds required to settle in Canada, and earn enough
points in the six selection factors minimum of 67 points out of
100.
Canadian
Experience Class
- The Canadian
Experience Class is an immigration category for Canada's temporary foreign
workers and international graduates who wish to become Permanent
Residents.
Provincial Nominees
Class -
Provincial Nominees Class applicants are selected to meet regional
needs. If you wish to immigrate to one of Canada’s provinces as a provincial
nominee, you must first apply to the province where you wish to settle.
Provincial Nominee Program offers accelerated immigration for qualified
skilled workers and experienced entrepreneurs who wish to settle in one of
these
provinces.
Business
Class - (
Investors, Entrepreneurs, Self-Employed). The
Business Class Immigration Program seeks to attract experienced business people
to Canada who will support the development of a strong and prosperous Canadian
economy.
Family Class
Must be sponsored by close family
members (such as a parent, fiancé(e), or spouse)
who are Canadian citizens or permanent
residents.
Quebec Selected Immigration
Skilled Worker / Professional applicants intending
to reside in Montreal or another city in the Province of Quebec are selected based
upon a different set of criteria than applicants who wish to settle elsewhere in
Canada. The Quebec Immigration selection system is designed to indicate the
likelihood of succeeding in settling in Quebec.
